| Kathy Washington-Office Manager. Kathy began her association with SCEGA in 1989, just a few weeks after they opened, when her daughter Lindsey, then 6 years old, joined SCEGA as a junior team gymnast. Kathy and her husband Chuck were proud SCEGA parents and active in the booster club as Lindsey progressed through the levels of the girl's team. Seven years later, Kathy resigned her nursing job at Children's Hospital in San Diego to stay closer to home and was asked to help SCEGA on a part time basis with some of the office organization. Over the next few years, SCEGA continued to grow--more than tripling in student enrollment and the part time job grew into a full time position as office manager. Kathy's daughter is now an adult, but Kathy continues to enjoy the environment of SCEGA with new students excited about trying gymnastics arriving every day!

| Dorinda King-Pro Shop Manager. Dorinda has been with SCEGA for four years. She started as the Academy Supervisor and now manages the SCEGA Pro Shop. She has 23 years of experience in retail management and really enjoys making the Pro Shop meet the needs of our customers. Dorinda also continues to help out with the Academy supervision as needed.
The Pro Shop has many styles of leotards, along with shorts, boys pommel pants, tape, grips, gymnastics related jewelry and gift items, as well as plenty of snacks and drinks. The Pro Shop may be reached at 951.699.9284

 | Mary Matheny-Academy Supervisor. Mary has been with SCEGA since they opened their doors in 1989. After a four year stint as a competitive gymnast, Mary owned her own gym for about five years. She brings to SCEGA a wealth of coaching information and knowledge of young children gained over her 28 years of gymnastics experience. She served as the Preschool Director for most of her time at SCEGA until recently when she transitioned to Academy Supervisor. Mary now works with the scheduling and training of our Academy coaches while still coaching many of her own classes as well.  | SCEGA'S Office Staff. SCEGA's friendly and helpful office staff is ready to help you with enrolling your child in classes, providing class information and taking payments. All of our staff have children who are or have been involved in the sport of gymnastics so they can answer many of the questions you may have or they will be sure to direct you to someone who can. SCEGA Coaching Staff. SCEGA's enthusiastic and safety conscious coaching staff is ready to help your child learn the sport of gymnastics while having fun and gaining self-confidence. Our coaches have a wide variety of experience both as gymnasts and coaches and follow a set curiculum for each level in our program. The gym is filled with fun equipment designed to teach your child the building blocks of gymnastics in a safe and controlled manner.
